Chicken and Waffle Casserole

Some pairings just feel meant to be: family around the table, laughter shared over a meal, and of course, the sweet and savory magic of chicken and waffles. This year for National Chicken and Waffle Day, we’re bringing that beloved combo into a warm, comforting casserole that makes serving easy and sharing even easier.
What You Need:
- Frozen waffles
- Popcorn chicken
- Milk
- Maple syrup
How To Make:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a baking dish.
- Toast the waffles in a toaster or on a baking sheet for 2–3 minutes while the oven preheats.
- Dice the waffles into bite-sized chunks.
- Dice the chicken tenders into small, bite-sized pieces.
- Arrange the waffle cubes in a single layer in the prepared baking dish, followed by the chicken pieces. Spread evenly so everything is intermixed.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, maple syrup, a pinch of salt, and a dash of cinnamon. Pour the mixture evenly over the layers in the baking dish.
- Bake for 50 minutes, until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
