Southwestern Burger

Ingredients

1 ½ lb. ground beef
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground pepper
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
2 tsp. canned chipotle chiles, chopped
4 slices pepper jack cheese
Guacamole
4 Kaiser rolls or buns
4 thick slices tomato (optional)
4 lettuce leaves (optional)

Instructions

1. Thoroughly mix first 6 ingredients. 2. Form into four thick patties. 3. Grill until no pink is left in middle. 4. Lightly toast kaiser rolls or buns. 5. Sandwich between each bun 1 slice of pepper jack cheese, 1 hamburger patty, and Guacamole to taste. Add optional lettuce and tomato if you prefer. 6. Sit back and enjoy with your favorite Sutter Home Wine.
