Wine Varietal: Pinot Noir
Ingredients
1 loaf garlic bread (homemade or store bought)
1/2 lb mushrooms
1 T butter or margarine
1 lb gr beef seasonings
favorite cheese, if desired
Instructions
Prepare garlic bread as per package instructions or preheat the grill and prepare garlic bread on the grill by wrapping in foil and turning twice while it heats. Once the garlic butter has melted into the bread, it can be placed face down on the grill just long enough to toast lightly. Whether prepared in the oven or on the grill, do not over crisp because you want the beef juices to be absorbed into it. Once you have started the bread, slice and saute the mushrooms in 1 T butter. Add a touch of salt just to enhance the flavor. While the mushrooms are sauteing and the bread is warming, divide the gr beef into 5 patties. Season with you favorite seasonings. Grill or broil until fully cooked to your liking, remembering to start the well done burgers first or place them over the hottest coals. Slice the garlic bread into into 5 pieces. Place 1 hamburger on each section, top with mushrooms, add cheese as needed. Enjoy.
