Drake White’s Music Will Make You Feel Good, Make You Feel Like Living the Dream

Drake White’s Music Will Make You Feel Good, Make You Feel Like Living the Dream

Drake White started writing his thoughts down when he was 14, some of which would later become lyrics in his song. He started singing when he was asked to join the youth choir at First Baptist Church of Hokes Bluff by his parents.

In concert, he and his band (Drake White & The Big Fire) opened up performances for like-minded musicians such as, Luke Bryan, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Tykler Bryant, and Zac Brown Band to name a few.

Drake’s songs are true American stories put to music. He writes about the real ups and downs, loves and losses, and living the dream — we can all relate to. He is one singer/songwriter who will never run out of songs because he writes about real life. And as the saying goes, “life is one long song.”

When discussing his new album, “SPARK” Drake said, “Since we began this journey – working on the album – I knew I wanted the title to be, ‘SPARK.’ The idea of starting a fire from a tiny spark has always been so intriguing to me. That’s the way I have always lived my life, starting with a small plan and then it becomes this dream I didn’t even know to dream.”

If you weren’t already a fan of Drake White’s, we’re thinking that after listening to his unplugged performance of “Story” on our Vibe & Vine YouTube channel, you will be.

Drake White and his band The Big Fire are the next generation of great American storytellers. Coming next week is a one-on-one candid conversation with Drake in our Vibe & Vine Studio. Stay tuned.
