Wine of the Month: Pinot Grigio
Our featured wine for July is Pinot Grigio.
Light and crisp, Sutter Home Pinot Grigio is a wonderful choice for summertime enjoyment, featuring the aromas of tropical fruits and the flavors of white peach and sweet citrus.
If you’re familiar with different wine varietals, Pinot Grigio and Pinot Gris are actually the same kind of wine! The grapes were first grown in France where they were known as Pinot Gris – and were later brought to Italy (Pinot Grigio).
Our Pinot Grigio pairs well with medium to strong cheeses, many chicken dishes, and pizzas topped with white sauce. It’s an easy-pleaser, perfect for both a laid-back evening in and casual entertaining with friends.
