The Sutter Home Gingerbread Bunt Cake

What You’ll Need
- 2 3/4 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/4 teaspoons ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 4 eggs, whisked and at room temperature
- 1 1/2 cups dark brown sugar
- 1 cup melted unsalted butter
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup molasses
How To Make
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Prepare your 10-cup bundt pan with grease and flour.
- Whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, ground ginger, allspice, cinnamon, and ground nutmeg.
- Place dry ingredients into stand mixer bowl.
- Add the eggs, brown sugar, melted butter, buttermilk, and molasses.
- Use the paddle attachment and mix on low for about 30 seconds, until the wet ingredients are combined.
- Add the flour and continue to mix on low until combined.
- Pour the batter into your prepared bundt pan and bake for 45-50 minutes.
- Let sit in pan for 10-15 minutes until cool.
