This week’s Sutter Home Wine & Food Pairing features White Merlot! We know this is a crowd favorite so we’ve paired this wine with fun game day foods that will knock your socks off.
Soft, round, juicy cherry and berry flavors form structure and a full, rich texture which pairs delightfully with chipotle mac & cheese, hushpuppies, grilled salmon tacos, pineapple-glazed chicken, apple pork sausages, teriyaki beef, salami and pepperoni pizza, ice cream and grilled fruit kabobs (be sure to include pineapple!)

BBQ tip: Does your food keep sticking to the grill Try to avoid coating your food in oil as it can add a lot of unnecessary fat to a meal. Instead, clean the grill regularly and lightly coat the grill with oil just as it is warming up before you begin cooking! Or, if you would like to avoid using any oil, placing foil on top of the grill is always a good alternative!
