Wine Varietal: White Zinfandel

Ingredients

1 lb. of ground angus beef (80% lean 20% fat)
1 4 oz. container of Athenos feta cheese crumbled with basil and tomato
1 8 oz. can of Dole crushed pineapple
1 medium red onion
4 slices sharp cheddar cheese
1 pkg. Kings Hawaiin sandwich rolls
a pinch of white pepper

 

Instructions

place beef in a large bowl, add to the bowl 1/2 of package(2 oz.) of basil tomato feta cheese. Mix briefly with clean hands. Next, open and drain can of crushed pineapple. Add pineaplle to meat mixture. Add the pinch of pepper. Mix thoroughly. Form into four equal patties. These are to be grilled outdoors, doesn't make a huge difference if its gas or charcoal. Place on grill. Meanwhile split and toast the rolls, and thinly slice the red onion. When the bugers are done, top each immediately with a slice of sharp cheddar cheese. Place each burger on a toasted roll and top with the red onion (I prefer two, slightly overlapping slices).
