Wine Varietal: Pinot Grigio

Ingredients

3 lbs. ground sirloin
12 slices cooked bacon, finely diced
1 granny smith apple, finely diced
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
6 slices cheddar cheese
6 sourdough burger buns
6 TBs grey poupon mustard
12 leafs butter lettuce
2 slices red onion, seperated into rings
1 cameo apple, thinly sliced

 

Instructions

1. In a large bowl, mix ground sirloin with bacon, granny smith apple, cinnamon, salt & pepper. Separate into six portions and form into patties. Grill over medium-high heat 7 min. each side for medium doneness.
2. When patty has one minute left on grill, top with cheddar.
3. Lightly toast bun, spread with grey poupon. Layer lettuce, red onion, patty with ceddar and cameo apple.
