Smokey Bleu Burgers

Ingredients

Smokey Bleu Sauce:
1/4 cup barbeque sauce
½ cup bleu cheese salad dressing

Patties:
2 pounds ground beef
3 tablespoons peppercorns
2 teaspoons salt
¼ cup water
1/2 cup real crumbled bacon
1 small yellow onion, chopped finely
¼ barbeque sauce

3 teaspoons vegetable oil
6 ciabatta bread buns
1 can french fried onions

 

Instructions

In small bowl, mix ¼ cup barbeque sauce and bleu cheese dressing, set aside. In large bowl combine ground beef, peppercorns, salt, water, bacon, onion and remaining barbeque sauce. Mix well, shape into 6 patties. Grease grill with oil. Grill burgers over low heat for 20-30 minutes.
Grill buns until warm. Spread dressing mixture over buns, place burger on top and add generous portion of french fried onions. Serve.
