Simply Summer Burgers
What more could you want from a summer cookout? All it requires is ground turkey, chipotle cheddar cheese and mango salsa.
Ingredients:
- 2 Pounds ground turkey
- 6 Slices chipotle cheddar cheese
- 2 Mangoes
- 1 Red pepper
- ½ Large red onion
- 1 Lime
- 1 Tablespoon cilantro
- 6 Whole wheat burger buns
Instructions:
- Form 6 turkey burgers, ⅓ pound each
- Cut 6 slices of chipotle cheddar cheese
- Make mango salsa
- Dice 2 mangoes, 1 red pepper, ½ red onion, and add chopped cilantro and the juice of one lime
- Grill turkey burgers, 4 minutes on each side
- Add cheese and melt for another 2 – 3 minutes
- Grill burger buns
- Place the turkey burgers on the toasted whole wheat buns and let your guests add the mango salsa
