Ahumada Y Dulce Burger

Wine Varietal: White Zinfandel

Ingredients

Burger:
– 1.25 lbs ground beef
– 1 or 2 chipotles peppers in sauce, depending on hot you can handle
– ¼ cup steak sauce
– sautéed onions, chopped
– salt and pepper to taste
Mango relish:
– 1 ripe mango diced
– ½ of a jalapeno pepper seeded and diced
– 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
– Handful of Cilantro, chopped
– Fresh juice of one lemon
Cilantro infused olive oil:
– 1/4 cup high quality olive oil
– ¼ cup Chopped cilantro
– Fresh juice of ½ lemon

 

Instructions

Sautee the onion in olive oil and/or a little butter Add all burger ingredients and mix well with hands Form burger patties, cover and refrigerate at least 30 minutes Mix all of the ingredients for the relish, cover and refrigerate Use a Wisk or food processor to combine the olive oil, cilantro and lemon juice Cook burgers until cooked to preference Top with mango relish Lightly toast buns and brush on lemon oil Assemble burgers
