Live in the Vineyard – April 2014: That’s a wrap!
And just like that, Live in the Vineyard 2014 has come to a close. It was a weekend jam-packed with amazing music, delicious food, and phenomenal wine – all here in the Napa Valley. Read on for a behind-the-scenes look.
The music events kicked off Friday night at the Uptown Theatre in downtown Napa with performances from Plumb, Hunter Hayes, Mary Lambert, Fitz and the Tantrums, and O.A.R. – what a line-up! You could feel the energy in the room from 7:00PM right up until the end.
We were pretty sure Friday couldn’t be topped, until Saturday morning, when Colbie Caillat gave an exclusive performance at Sutter Home Winery. Guests enjoyed delicious food and Sutter Home wines while listening to Colbie Caillat sing songs like “Bubbly” and “Lucky,” along with a few others – including a new song she wrote with Babyface. Colbie exuded an amazing warmth to the audience, and even stuck around after her performance to take pictures with the crowd. WOW! Check them out here.
After a few hours to recharge, everyone headed back to the Uptown Theatre for performances by Yuna, Alternate Routes, LP, Passenger, and Sarah McLachlan. The fully-packed house spent most of the night on their feet, dancing along to the amazing sounds of five incredibly talented artists. It was a night that no one wanted to end.
Live in the Vineyard 2014 certainly over-delivered on its mission: to marry peoples’ access to recording artists, top tier wine makers and world-renowned chefs during a “once-in-a-lifetime” event.
