In a large bowl mix hamburger, garlic powder, coffee grounds, 1 tablespoon brown sugar, salt, cayenne, paprika and worcestershire sauce.

Form 6 patties and lay to the side

In a small bowl mix 1/2 Cup brown sugar, 1/2 Teaspoon black pepper and 1/2 Teaspoon water

Place bacon in mixture, covering both sides

Cook burgers for 5-6 minutes on each side, per half inch of thickness, or when your thermometer reads 160 fahrenheit

While burgers are cooking, spray pan with cooking spray and start cooking the bacon slices, until crisp on both sides, adding more of brown sugar mixture as needed
7. Butter potato buns and place on grill for 1 minute

Add the cheddar cheese slices on burgers until melted

Place burgers on the buns and top with the candied bacon
