Mama’s Merlot Meatloaf Melt

Wine Varietal: Merlot

Ingredients

1 lb. of black angus ground beef
1 medium egg
1/3 Cup of Bread Crumbs w/Italian Seasonings
1/4 Cup of Merlot
1/2 Cup of Ketchup
1 small chopped onion
3 cloves minced garlic
salt and pepper to taste
2 slices of aged cheddar cheese
2 toasted buns

 

Instructions

Mix the following ingredients in a bowl (your hands work the best): 1 lb. of black angus ground beef 1 medium egg 1/3 Cup of LaRosa Bread Crumbs w/Italian Seasonings 1/4 Cup of Merlot 1/3 Cup of Ketchup 1 small chopped onion 3 cloves minced garlic salt and pepper to taste Make 2 burger patties w/the mixture and place on grill until the meat is cooked "medium" on one side. Flip the meat over and place a slice of aged cheddar on each burger. Once the 2nd side is completely cooked, Place the patties on the toasted bun. Utilize the remaining ketchup for dipping and enjoy!
