If you're planning a trip to wine country, we invite you to visit historic Sutter Home Winery, located on Highway 29 in the heart of Napa Valley. Established in 1874, Sutter Home was purchased by its current owners, the Trinchero Family, in 1947.
Location
Sutter Home is 60 miles northeast of San Francisco on Highway 29 in the heart of Napa Valley. From the city, take either the Bay Bridge to Highway 80 East, connecting to Highway 37 and Highway 29 North, or the Golden Gate Bridge to Highway 101 North to Highway 37 East to Highway 121 East and Highway 29 North. Sutter Home is 17 miles north of the town of Napa on the west side of Highway 29, one mile south of the town of St. Helena.
The Visitors Center, housed in the original winery building, is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for complimentary and reserve tasting, sale of wine-related merchandise, and self-guided tours of the White Zinfandel Garden.
