Wine Cocktail: Stocking Stuffer
A magical combination of our smooth Sutter Home Merlot with Irish cream and crème de cacao creates a knock-your-socks-off festive cocktail. Garnish with a ruby-red fresh raspberry and you have a delightfully luxurious liquid chocolate-raspberry truffle.
Forget Santa’s milk and cookies by the fire — one sip of the Stocking Stuffer and he’ll know you’ve been very good this year.
INGREDIENTS
1 ½ ounces Sutter Home Merlot
1 ounce Irish cream
¾ ounce light crème de cacao
Fresh raspberries for garnish
DIRECTIONS
Combine all ingredients in a shaker, adding wine last. Shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds (important to avoiding curdling). Strain into a cordial glass. Garnish with a speared raspberry.
