Wine 101: Wine Temperature
Is my white wine too cold? Is my red wine too warm? Vice versa all around? Just like everything in wine, this can turn into a huge debate or it can be kept simple. Let’s keep it simple! Let’s say you’re hosting a dinner party tonight. You have everything ready to go and you even remembered to put the white wine in the fridge before you left for work. (By the way, nice work on this!) When you get home, you start cooking. Everything’s coming together nicely and you’ve finished setting the table. You have 20 minutes to go. This is the perfect time to focus on your wine! At the 20 minute mark before you serve your guests, take the white wine out of the refrigerator and put the red wine in.
