Sutter Home Social Hour: Backyard Camping

Warm summer nights are to be shared outside with a glass of wine and the ones you love. For this month’s Social Hour, invite all your friends over for a night of camping under the stars in your own backyard.

First things first—pitch a tent. Whether you plan on heading indoors at the end of the night or not, setting up a tent is a great way to set the mood. No tent? No problem. Improvise by laying out blankets to hang out on while gazing at the stars.

Fire up your grill to provide your fellow campers with light, warmth, and most importantly, a place to cook. Fun and easy camping foods include: grilled pizza, nachos, and of course hot dogs!

No camping trip would be complete without s’mores. Make the night more fun by setting up a table full of delicious toppings and see what concoctions your campers come up with!

End the night telling stories under the stars while enjoying your tasty s’more treats and Sutter Home wine.
