Entertainment Tip: Orphan Train

As Terry knows, chowder is the perfect low-key entertainment food. You can make a pot in the afternoon and keep it warm on the lowest flame on a back burner of your stove or in a crock pot. Invite people to drop by anytime between 5:30 and 7:30 for wine and an easy dinner. Right before people come, toss together a salad of spring lettuces, olive oil, and lemon juice (easy to replenish throughout the evening). Serve with cheese or garlic sticks – or if you’re really ambitious, crusty bread or cheddar biscuits. Now sit back, pour yourself a glass of wine, and enjoy your company!
