Beef & Feta Burger

Wine Varietal: White Zinfandel

Ingredients

1 1/2 lbs ground chuck
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teqspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon  Grill Mates hamburger seasoning
6 slices Feta cheese (Approx 6 oz )
6 slices tomatoe ( 2 medium size tomatoes )
6 wholewheat hamburger buns
1 large red onion sliced
1/2 cup mayonaise
1/2 cup ketchup
2 cups fresh spinach

 

Instructions

Place first five ingredients in bowl and mix well. Form into twelve equal size patties and place one slice of Feta and one slice of tomatoe on each of six patties. Top with remaining patties and seal around edges. Place on pre-heated gas grill at medium high heat. cook five minutes on each side. Place buns on grill cut side down for the last minute of cook time. Remove buns and burgers from heat and let burgers rest while preparing buns. Spread mayonaise and ketchup on buns. Place spinach and onion slice on each bun, top with burger and other half of bun. Enjoy
