Cajun Burger

Pairs well with:

White Zinfandel

With strawberry and melon essences, this American original is perfectly at home with however you like to unwind.

Ingredients

Cajun Saesoning Mix –
shaker container of your choice
use 1/3 equal parts of salt,
black pepper,
red pepper:
fill container and mix
Cajun Burger
2 lbs. ground chuck beef
1/2 cup steak sauce
2 tsp worchestershire sauce
2 tsp. cajun seasoning mix
8 saltine crackers crumbled fine
1 egg
vegatable spray for grill
6 slices jalapeno
monteray jack cheese
6 bakery fresh onion rolls
6 leaves of romaine lettuce
6 slices tomato
6 slices purple onion

 

Instructions

Mix first 5 ingredients with cleaned hands and form 6 1/2to 1/3 inch patties. Place in refridgerator for 1 hour to help set up patties and flavors. After 45 min. heat grillon high for 15 min. lower to medium/low, spray lightly with vegatable spray(watch for flames). Place burgers on grill, cook on each side for 7 minutes-do not press burgers with turning spatcula. Remove burger from grill and cover tightly with foil and let sit for 5 minutes (this will make a juice to use on hamburger bun). Uncover burgers place jalapeno jack cheese on top, place burger on bun with lettuce, tomato and purple onion. Use about 1 tsp of jucie from burger left on plate after letting burger sit for 5 min on top inside of bun. Enjoy!!!
