Wine Varietal: Pinot Grigio
1 3/4 pound lean ground beef
1/4 pound mild Italian sausage
6 slices mozzarella cheese
1 8oz package cream cheese
2oz fresh grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoon pesto
3oz thin sliced Italian salami (12 slices)
1 tomato (sliced)
1 head Romaine lettuces
1 8oz jar marinated artichoke hearts
6 Italian rolls
Preheat a grill for high heat.
In a medium bowl, lightly mix together the ground beef and Italian sausage. Form into 6 patties, handling the meat minimally.
Place the patties on the grill grate, and cook for about 5 minutes per side, until well done.
Bake: Italian salami on a sheet pan in a single layer in the oven 400 degrees for 6-8 min until crispy
Melt cheese onto patties and slice rolls for buns and spread both sides with sauce.
Sauce: combine cream cheese, Parmesan cheese and Pesto. blend until smooth.
Top cheesed patty with crispy salami, tomato, artichoke hearts and romaine lettuces.
