Wine Varietal: White Zinfandel
It has eveything a perfect burger should have. A great sauce,bacon,and pepperjack cheese!
1 1/2lb ground chuck
1/2lb italian sausage
12 slices maple bacon
1/2cup chopped red onion
1/2cup chopped green bell pepper
1 tablespoon crushed fresh garlic
1 tablespoon dark brown sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon season salt and garlic powder
1 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
6 slices pepper jack cheese
12 slices thick cut texas toast
6 large red tomatoe slices
1/2 red onion sliced
Vegetable Oil for grill rack
1/2 cup Kraft Honey Garlic Barbque sauce
1/3 cup Kraft Thousand Island dressing
Bacon: Grill bacon 2-3mins on each side or until completely cooked
Burgers: In large bowel combine beef,italian sausage, chopped onions,peppers,garlic,brown sugar, and all seasoning. Mix until everything is mixed evenly. Shape 12 beef patties thinly. Place 1 slice pepper jack cheese on 1 pattie and crumble 2 slices of bacon. Bacon sits on top of cheese then place 1 pattie on top to create a stuffed burger. This should make 6 stuffed burgers.
Bursh grill rack with Veggi oil and place burgers on grill and cover. Patties should cook about 5mins on each side or until fully cooked.
Bread: When the burgers are half way cooked. Place texas toast on grill. Cook until toasted(3mins on each side)
Sauce: Mix barbque sauce and thousand island dressing in a bowl unitl mix throughly.
To assemble burgers. Spead sauce on both slices of texas toast on bottom toast add pattie and add 1 slice of tomatoe and red onion add top toast and serve
