Viking Burger

This Burger has a hint of sweetness because of the Norwegian cheese. It is very simple to make and tastes great.


1 1/2 lbs of 85% lean ground beef.
1 1/2 cups of shredded Ski Queen Gjetost (Norwegian Goat Cheese) Ski Queen is the only brand sold in the U.S.
Salt and Pepper to taste. 6
Hamburger rolls.
Nonstick cooking spray.


Break up the beef and mix the cheese until well blended. Make 6 1 to 1 1/2 inch burgers. Put in fridge for 10-15 minutes. Preheat grill to medium to medium high heat. Spray grill with nonstick spray. put a thumb print in the middle of each pattie. (this will make the pattie cook flat). Cook 5-6 minutes on each side or until desired doneness. 5-6 minutes will be medium rare to medium. Place on buns serve and enjoy.
