Turkey Scallopine Burger
Fresh Sage growing in my garden.
Ingredients:
Turkey Burgers
1 and a half pounds ground turkey
1 cup shredded zucchini
1 TB Fresh Sage, chopped
1 TB Lemon Zest
1 TB Garlic, chopped
1 TB Sutter Home Chardonnay
1 TB lemon juice
6 Kings Hawaiian Honey Wheat Sandwich Rolls
Onion Topping
2 Cups thinly sliced red onions
2 TB Fresh Sage, chopped
1 TB Sutter Home Chardonnay
Sage Lemon Sauce
Half cup Best Foods Mayo
1 TB Fresh Sage, Chopped
1 TB Lemon Zest
1 TB Chopped Garlic
1 TB Lemon Juice
1 TB Sutter Home Chardonnay

Instructions:
Mix all ingredients for the Lemon Sage Sauce together and store in ref. Do this early in the day or the day before so the flavors can “marry’.
place sliced onions on a hot grill (400 F)
Turn when browned and grill other side
Place grilled onions in a bowl mix in the wine and sage set aside.
In a large bowl mix together all burger ingredients.
Shape into 6 burgers
Cook on hot grill till cooked (400F).
Toast buns on grill
Place a burger on each bun
Top with onions and Lemon Sage Sauce
Enjoy with a chilled glass of Sutter Home Chardonnay
