Tucson Monsoon Burger with moping sauce

Tucson Monsoon Season occur from June to August and provide much needed rain for the Desert. This is the best time for grlling outdoors; as it is the coolest after rains and temperature;s can fall below three digits, and less chance of brush fires.

Ingredients 

Moping Sauce.
1/4 C. Cider vinegar
1/2 C. Olive oil
1/2 C. Molases
1 Tbsp. Instant coffee
1 Tbsp. Dijon Mustard
1/2 Tsp. Salt
Pattie ingrediants.
2 Lbs. Ground Beef
1/2 C. Small Red Bellpeppers
1/4 C. BBQ sauce (any will do , we used a Sweet honey BBQ)
1 tsp. Sage
1 Tsp. Salt
Condiments.
Vegetable oil for grill grate
6 Toasted Buns
Mayonaise
Romaine Lettuce leaves
Sliced Onion
Sliced Red Tomatoes

Instructions 

In small bowl mix together first six ingrediants for moping sauce and set aside. 1/4 C. Cider vinegar 1/2 C. Olive oil 1/2 C. Molases 1 Tbsp. Instant coffee 1 Tbsp. Dijon Mustard 1/2 Tsp. Salt In large bowl mix together Beef, red pepper, BBQ sauce, Sage, Salt. Then with wet hands shape beef mixture into patties. Oil grill and place patties over hot glowing coals. Liberally brush on Moping Sauce on one side of patties and turn over onto to grill sauce side down. Grill aproximate 11 minutes each side. Turn and re-apply moping sauce and turn over. Contiune until cooked. Remove from grill and dress toasted Hamburger buns with condiments Mayonase, Romaine Lettus leaves, Sliced Onion,and Sliced Red Tomatoes and serve.
