I was laid off my job of 24 years last year,to feel good again I started culinary school and this is where I orginally made up this burger. My wife wanted me to make it at home after hearing classmates rave. We always keep Sutter Home on hand, the burger and the wine pared perfectly. Tony
1 lb of hamburger 85% lean or buffalo
1 tlb worcestershire sauce
salt & pepper to taste
lettuce & tomato slices
mix meat, sauce, salt & pepper with hands. Using a cast Iron skillet or grill cook over medium heat to medium high heat. cook until medium rare. Toast rolls cut in half. Place blue cheese on top of burger with top of bun, cook until blue cheese is melted. Place lettuce and tomato on bottom bun. Place top bun with cheese and meat on bottom of bun. Serve with chips and a glass of Sutter home wine.
