TNT Burger

This is a stuffed beef hamburger exploding with the richness of blue cheese, the pep of jalapeno peppers, the texture and taste of baby bella mushrooms, and the mild flavor of fresh cilantro. My wife and I were watching the Build a Better Burger contest on the Food Network one saturday evening (drooling) and decided I would come up with my own recipe. I did some experimenting with freinds and family as our guinea pigs and this is what we came up with. I appreciate the opportunity to share my recipe with you. Sincerely, Ryan

Ingredients

Filling:
-4 oz. crumbled blue cheese
-1 cup diced baby bella mushrooms
-2 diced jalapenos (leave the seeds in one)
-1/3 cup chopped cilantro
-1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
-1/2 cup Lighthouse Bluecheese Dressing
Hamburger:
-3 lbs. 80/20 fresh ground hamburger
-2 cups diced baby bella mushrooms
-2/3 cup chopped cilantro
-3/4 tsp garlic salt
-3/4 tsp ground pepper
-1/2 tsp accent
-3 tbls worcestershire sauce
-3 tbls beer (guiness stout)
 -1 egg
Bun: -
6 white bakery fresh hamburger buns (extra large)
-1/3 cup cilantro
-3/4 cup mayonnaisse

Instructions

Filling: Mix the filling ingredients in a small bowl. Hamburger: Vigourosly mix the hamburger, diced baby bella mushrooms, cilantro, garlic salt, pepper, and accent in a large bowl. On the side mix the worschesire sauce, beer, and egg in a small mixing bowl. Pour the egg mixture over the top of the hamburger and mix in good. Next make the hamburgers by taking a little over a 1/4 lb. of hamburger and making a pocket. Then take the filling and put it into the pocket. finish by making a pattie a little less than a 1/4 lb. and cover the stuffed side. Form a nice round pattie. Continue these steps and you will have 6 hamburgers. Bun: Take the mayonnaisse and cilantro and mix them together. Spread this over a toasted white hamburger bun. Cook to your liking and watch out because this TNT HAMBURGER is going to explode in your mouth.
