Three Way By-Pass Burger

In 1997, my husband had a 3-Way by-pass, or as we in Cincinnati call it, a 3-way Skyline Chili By-Pass, hold the onions. A big fan of beef, he gives up nothing with my lean beef, turkey or chicken burgers with lots of flavor, typically made of turkey, and big on taste.


1 lb. of ground turkey, beef or chicken
Sundried tomatoes packed in olive oil
6 slices cooked turkey bacon, bacon or proscutto
Chopped basil to taste
Oregano to taste
Chopped Garlic to taste
Part Skim Mozzarella, feta or fontina to taste
Salt & Pepper


Mix all ingredients, last 7 according to personal preference. We like more sundried tomatoes for burgers than are moist when using turkey. You may like more cheese, basil, oregano or garlic....


Best on the grill. No need for extra toppings on this burger.... Just a good bun and maybe a little lettuce. Yummmmmmmmmm
