The O.C.

By adding zucchini and carrots into the burgers it is an easy and sneaky way to make sure everyone gets their veggies. Plus the they make the burgers very moist.


2 small carrots
1 small zucchini
1/4 cup barbecue sauce
1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped green onion
1 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp pepper
1 1/4 pounds ground turkey


1. Finely chop the carrots and zucchini in a food processor. 2. Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl. 3. Shape into 6 burgers. 4. Pre - heat grill. Cook for 6-7 minutes on each side. 5. Serve on whole wheat buns with lettuce, tomatoe and sliced avocado.
