The Italian Stallion burger
Although my marriage name is not italian - I am italian and we love our food!! I love to cook and came up with this idea of serving a burger on garlic bread. My family loved it!
1lb. ground beef
1 teaspoon finely chopped garlic
salt to taste
pepper to taste
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
sliced fresh mozzarella cheese
sliced fresh tomato
homemade marinted roasted peppers
For the garlic rolls:
Hamburger rolls from an italian bakery
Mix the ground beef with garlic, salt and pepper to taste and worcestershire sauce. Mix well and form into burgers. Grill or fry burgers. While burgers are frying make the garlic rolls. Cut rolls open and evely spread margarine on both sides of roll. Sprinkle evenly over both sides of roll with garlic powder, black pepper, grated cheese and parsley flakes. Lightly toast roll in oven. Once burgers are done cooking top with fresh mozzarella, tomato and roasted peppers put on garlic roll and enjoy!
