THE HOLY DOLEY BURGER
This burger recipe has a bit of an asian influence, with the fresh grilled pineapple topping this juicy burger it's definitely a better burger.
2 Scallions (thinly sliced)
1/4 C.Barbecue sauce
1 TBS oyster sauce
1 TBS honey
1 Tsp fresh ginger (pelled and grated)
1/2 Tsp hot pepper sauce
1/4 Tsp garlic powder
2 LBS lean ground hamburger
1 pineapple (pelled, cored and sliced into 1/2 inch thick slices)
8 bulkie rolls
Green Leaf Lettuce (wash and prepare 8 leaves)
1. In a Large bowl mix the first seven ingredients together with a wisk. 2. Add ground hambuger, mix well and shape into 8 burgers. Set aside. 3. Heat grill on high heat. Grill pineapple for 4 minutes on each side, turn a 1/4 turn half way through for cross grill marks. 4. At the same time your grillng the pineapple grill burgers to desired doneness, turn a 1/4 turn half way through for cross grill marks. DO NOT PRESS DOWN ON BURGERS WHILE GRILLING 5. Assemble burger as follows: bottom of roll slice of tomato burger grilled pineapple lettuce top of roll 6. Enjoy!!
All grills are not the same, high for one maybe medeium for another. So watch carefully not to burn the pineapple and the burgers,
