The Fresh Burger
Sometimes burgers can be heavy this is the perfect recipe to lighten them up.
4 Ripe Small Tomatoes Chopped
1 Handful Flat Leaf Parsley Chopped
1 Small Red Onion Chopped
2 Tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1lb Fresh Spinach washed and trimmed of stems and chopped
3 Tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar
½ Cup Pitted Kalamta Olives roughly chopped
1 ½ Pound Ground Beef 80% Lean
¼ Tablespoon Garlic Salt
¼ Tablespoon Black Pepper
1 Cup Graded Parmesan Cheese
6 Chiabatta Bread rolls
Pre-heat grill on high Combine tomatoes, parsley, onion, olive oil, spinach, vinegar, and olives in a bowl. Mix well and set aside. Combined beef, garlic salt, pepper, and cheese in another bowl and mix well. Make into 6 equal patties. Place on grill and cook for 5 minute aside or until internal temperature reaches 160 degrees. When burgers are finished place on Chiabatta rolls and top with tomatoes spinach mixture and enjoy.
