The Flaming Dr Pepper Burger

Imagine sipping a lighter Merlot. This fresh, pale-pink wine is a nice change from traditional red or white wines.

Ingredients

2 pounds USDA ground Beef 15% fat (85% Lean)
1 fresh Habenero Pepper
1/2 cup of Dr. Pepper soda
1/4 cup of Lager
1 tablespoon of  mixed up salt
1 tablespoon of canola oil
6 slices of pre-sliced pepper jack cheese
6 seeded hamburger rolls
6 tablespoons Ketchup
6 teaspoons Worchestershire Sauce

 

Instructions

Place ground beef in large mixing bowl de-seed habenero pepper and chop finely place finely chopped habenero in mixing bowl with the ground beef pour 1/2 cup of Dr. Pepper into mixing bowl pour 1/4 cup lager into mixing bowl pour tablespoon of Mixed-Up Salt into mixing bowl use your hands to knead mixture together until it is sufficiently blended. form mixture into six 5 1/2 ounce patties place patties on a tray and let sit at room temperature for 20 minutes light gas grill and place on high heat for 10 minutes with cover down after 10 minutes turn heat down to medium low brush grilling surface with canola oil place patties on grill close grill cover and let patties cook for 10 minutes after 10 minutes flip patties, close grill cover, and let cook for 5 minutes open grill cover, place 6 cheese slices on patties, close grill cover and turn grill to off let patties sit for 2 minutes to melt cheese. place the bottom half of the 6 split seeded hamburger rolls on a tray open grill cover and place the hamburger patties from the grill onto the bottom half of the seeded rolls place 1 tablespoon Hines Ketchup onto each patty place 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce onto each patty Place top half of hamburger roll on patty and enjoy
