Ingredients:

Patties:
2 lb 85% lean ground beef
1 tsp salt
½ tsp pepper

6 eggs
12 slices pre-cooked Canadian bacon
12 slices American cheese
6 sandwich size English muffins
3 tbs room temperature butter
½ cup strawberry preserves

2-3 tbs vegetable oil for brushing the grill
Non-stick cooking spray to make the eggs

Instructions:

Preheat a gas grill to medium-high.

To make patties combine beef, salt, and pepper in a medium size bowl. Divide the meat into six equal size patties.

Preheat a medium sized skillet on the grill and spray with cooking spray. Cook eggs, 2 at a time, over easy 2-3 minutes on each side. Place on a tray and lightly cover with foil, while the patties cook.

Brush the grill with vegetable oil. Place the patties on the grill and flip once, cooking for 5-7 minutes on each side for medium. Place two slices of cheese on each patty for the last 2 minutes of cooking.

Once the patties are flipped (after the first 5-7 minutes) place the candian bacon on the grill and flip once, cooking for 2 minutes on each side.

Place English muffins on the grill to toast for the last 2 minutes of cooking. Remove the English muffins and spread butter evenly on both sides of each English muffin. Then spread preserves evenly on the bottom half of each English muffin.

To assemble, place each patty on the bottom half of the English muffin, top with 2 slices of Canadian bacon, one egg, and the top half of the English muffin.
