Tasty Turkey Burgers
This is a healthier alternative to Beef Burgers and easy to make.
1 pound turkey (do not use just turkey breast, too dry)
1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
4 green onions chopped fine. White part only
2 Tablespoons ketchup
1 Tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon lite soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon hot sauce to taste
4 whole wheat buns
4 lettuce leaves
4 tomato slices
Combine turkey and next 9 ingredients in large bowl. Shape into 4 patties. (Thinner in the middle and thicker around the edges. Grill burgers until done. About 5 minutes each side. Spread about 1 teaspoon mustard on one side of each whole wheat buns. Place turkey burgers on buns and top with lettuce and tomato and pickles.
Make sure that turkey is cooked through.
