Tantalizing Turkey Burgers
Lower in fat then beef, this is a taste tingling alternative burger.
2 pounds ground turkey
2 Tbs. Sutter Home white zinfandel
1 large onion, minced
1/2 cup mayonnaise
4 ounces monterey jack cheese
1 organic egg white
1 1/2 tablespoons curry powder
Mix mayonnaise and wine with 1 1/2 teaspoons of curry powder. Refrigerate. Mix turkey with remaining curry powder, onion, and egg white. Form into patties and grill on medium heat for about 6 minutes each side. Turn carefully and top with thinly sliced cheese during the last minutes of cooking just until cheese melts. Serve on whole wheat toasted buns leafy lettuce, tomatoe and with the mayonnaise mixture.
