Taco Loco Burger

This burger is quick and easy to prepare, and has all of the delicious taco flavor we all love!

3lbs. ground beef (85% lean)
1 cup taco seasoning
¼ cup water
¾ cup store bought guacamole
½ red onion, diced
1 roma tomato, diced
Oil spray for grill
6 slices extra sharp cheddar cheese
6 large hamburger buns (preferably freshly baked from grocer)
½ stick softened butter
6tbs. store bought refried beans
3tbs. sour cream
1 cup shredded romaine lettuce
½ jalapeno, sliced thin
2tbs. chopped fresh cilantro

Combine the ground beef, taco seasoning and water until incorporated. Make 6, 1/2lb. patties and set aside. Turn grill to medium/high and let it heat up while making the guacamole mix. Combine the guacamole, red onion and tomato and refrigerate until ready to use. Spray the grill to prevent burgers from sticking. Place burgers over direct heat for about 5 minutes on both sides. Butter both the top and bottom buns and lightly grill until golden brown. When burgers are almost done, place one slice of cheese on each until it melts. Put 1tbs. refried beans on each bottom bun, then ½ tbs. sour cream. Place the burger on top, then 2tbs. guacamole mix, some shredded romaine, a few jalapeno slices, and a sprinkle of cilantro. Top with bun and enjoy!

If you prefer your 'tacos' spicy, hot sauce may be added to the sour cream!
