sweet and spicy turkey burgers

it is sweet and spicy and because it uses ground turkey breast it is fast to cook and healthier than a beef burger

Ingredients:

2 1/2 pounds ground turkey breast
5 green onions cut fine
2 green jalepenos diced fine and seeded
1 red jalepeno diced fine and seeded
2 cloves of garlic grated
2 tablespoons chopped flat leaf parsley
1 tablespoon honey
1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
pinch of cayenne pepper
salt and pepper to taste
12 slices pepper jack cheese
6 whole wheat rolls
1/2 cup dijon mustard
1/2 cup applebutter
1 bag of sweet baby lettuces

Instructions:

mix the ground turkey, green onions, jalepeno peppers, garlic, parsley, honey, olive oil, cayenne pepper and a teaspoon of salt and pepper in a bowl make into 6 patties then put salt and pepper to taste on each side. preheat gas grill when grill is fully hot temp on my grill reads 600 to 700 degrees put burgers on grill on close lid leave for about 3 to five minutes on first side then lower heat to low on one half of grill and flip burgers over and put on the low side of the grill close lid and leave for about 2 to 3 minutes then get cheese and put on 2 slices per burger and close lid till chesse is melted about 1 to 3 minutes. take burgers off grill and put the rolls on to toast lightly and to also let the burgers rest for about 5 to 7 minutes. Once the rolls are off spread about 1 tablespoon dijon mustard on each half of each roll then 1 tablespoon applebutter on each half as well. place burgers on the bottoms of the rolls put the lettuce on top and top with the bun tops.
