Your family will never know what hit them when they take their first bit of these scrumptious masterpieces.
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 cup seasoned bread crumbs
3 large eggs
1 lb. cooked crisp bacon, crumbled
1 chopped onion
1 cup barbeque sauce
5-6 slices of cheese
Combine first 6 ingredients well. Form into 10-12 very skinny patties. Place a slice of cheese on half of the patties and place the other patties one on top of each. Gently pinch the outer edges of each burger to hold in the cheese. Place the burgers onto your grill and watch the family drool away. Cook 10 minutes on each side over a very low flame (or to your likeness). When done, serve on hamberg buns and with condiments of choice, but these don't really need any other condiment.
Serve with your favorite cold salad or potato chips. Makes 5-6 burgers.
