Spicy Cajun Pineapple Burger

This is a combination of Louisiana spices mixed with a little Hawaiian flare. It is a recipe I tried for fun one day, and it has turned out to be a great success for tailgate parties and just plain ole backyard BBQ's.

Ingredients

2 1/2 pounds of Lean Ground Meat
1 pound of Ground Pork
1 TBSP. of Seasoned Bread Crumbs
2 Eggs
2 Tbsps. of Yellow Onions
2 Tbsps. of Green Peppers
2 Tbsps. of Garlic
2 Tbsps. of Green Onions
1 Tbsp. of Worcetershire Sauce
1 Tbsp. of Cajun Power Garlic Sauce
1/2 Tbsp. Garlic Powder
1 Tbsp. Sea Salt
1 Tbsp. Black Pepper
2 Cans of Pineapple Rings
1/2 Tbsp. Cayenne Pepper
1 Cup of Blue Cheese Crumbles

Instructions

Prep time is 30 minutes Cooking time is 20 minutes Mix well the Ground Meat, Pork, bread crumbs, eggs, onions, bellpeppers, green onions, garlic, blue cheese crumbles, worcestershire sauce, cajun power garlic sauce, garlic powder, salt, black pepper and cayenne pepper. Continue mixing until all ingredients are mixed well. Make hamburger patties about an inch thick place a thumb print in the center of the patty, but do not push all the way through the patty. Let the patties sit at room temperature, while you light the pit, let the temperature of the pit reach 300 degrees, place the burgers on the pit over direct fire, do not turn the burger for at least five minutes, let the outsides of the burgers sear. Flip the burgers every five minutes. Five mintues before the burgers are done place the pineapple rings on the pit also next to the burgers, grill them for five minutes. Also place the buns on the pit and heat them for a minute. Then enjoy!!!
