Spicy Buffalo Chicken Wing Burger

Ingredients

Patty Mixture-
-2 lbs. of Ground Chicken (half white and half dark meat)
-1 cup of Panko Bread Crumbs(Japanese Bread Crumbs)
-1/4 cup of finely chopped onion
-1 Tbls. of celery seed
-1/4 Tsp. of salt
-1/4 Tsp. of pepper
-3/4 cup of Spicy Buffalo Sauce for basting (Recipe Below)
Spicy Buffalo Sauce Ingredients-
-2 Tbls. of butter –
6 cloves of garlic chopped
-1 Tbls.of soy sauce
-1 Tbls.of lemon juice
-1/2 cup of honey
-2 Tbls. of brown sugar
-1&1/2 cup of water 
1/4 cup of hot sauce.
Blue Cheese Dressing Ingredients-
-1 cup of Blue Cheese
-1/4 cup of mayonaise
-1/4 cup of sour cream
-1 to 2 Tbls. of milk
-1/4 Tsp. of salt
-1/4 Tsp. of pepper
-1 cup chopped celery
-Lettuce and Tomatoes for topping
-6 Bakery Rolls

 

Instructions

To make Sauce- In a sauce pan, melt the butter over a medium heat. Add the garlic, and cook until slightly softened, about three minutes. Add soy sauce, lemon juice, honey, hot sauce and brown sugar, mix until well dissolved. Add water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer and cook for about 15 minutes or until mixture reduces to about 1 1/2 cups of sauce. Reserve 1/2 cup for condiment use. To make Patties- Mix together ground chicken, bread crumbs, chopped onion, celery seed, salt and pepper. Form 6 patties. Heat the grill to 375'. Place the patties on the hot grill, and cook for 3 to 4 minutes on one side then flip them over. Generously baste the cooked side with the Buffalo Sauce. After the other side is cooked, about 3 or 4 minutes, baste it as well. Remove from grill. Toast rolls on the grill for about one minute,cut side down.
