Smokey Bleu Burgers

The unique combination of these flavors will have those bleu cheese lovers screaming for more. You will not believe what two traditional burger toppings do to this burger when combined together.

Ingredients 

Smokey Bleu Sauce:
1/4 cup barbeque sauce
½ cup bleu cheese salad dressing
Patties:
2 pounds ground beef
3 tablespoons peppercorns
2 teaspoons salt
¼ cup water
1/2 cup real crumbled bacon
1 small yellow onion, chopped finely
¼ barbeque sauce
3 teaspoons vegetable oil
6 ciabatta bread buns
1 can french fried onions

Instructions 

In small bowl, mix ¼ cup barbeque sauce and bleu cheese dressing, set aside. In large bowl combine ground beef, peppercorns, salt, water, bacon, onion and remaining barbeque sauce. Mix well, shape into 6 patties. Grease grill with oil. Grill burgers over low heat for 20-30 minutes. Grill buns until warm. Spread dressing mixture over buns, place burger on top and add generous portion of french fried onions. Serve.
