Shubie Doo's Lousiana Burgers
These burgers are light and fres. Use only the very finest ingredients and wine from Sutter Homes.
3/4 lb fresh ground chicken
1/2 lb raw, de-veined, peeled, fine chopped large shrimp
1/2 c. Sutter Home Chardonnay
Fresh ground white pepper (to taste)
2 Tbl seafood Seasoning
3/4 c. fine chopped pepper, yellow & green
1 beaten large egg
1 fine, chopped white onion
4 fine chopped garlic cloves
1/2 c fine, chopped sultanas
1 Tbl melted, unsalted Irish butter
3/4 c toasted, dry, crushed bread crumbs.
1 lb fresh bean sprouts
4 Potato style Hamburger buns, toasted
4 fresh lettuce leaves
4 Thick slices Hothouse red tomato
1) Combine chicken and shrimp in large bowl. 2)Mix next 10 ingredients into meat/shrimp combo until well mixed. 3) Form large, thick patties. 5) Refrigerate until firm. 6) Pre-heat and pre-oil grill. 7) Grill pattties until completely cooked. 8) Remove from grill and serve with trimmings. Serves 4.
this dish is light, healthy and easy to make. The burgers are refreshing and wholesome. The coloured vegetables make it fun!!!!!!!!!!!!
