Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Burger

My kids and I spend summers cooking up all kinds of brilliant (and many not so brilliant) creations. There is nothing like experimenting and coming up with a new page for your recipe book. The Seargent Pepper Lonely Hearts Club Burger is a little something we concocted to kick away the late summer blues.


4 all beef patties
Worcestshire Sauce
Dijon Mustard
1 whole lemon
1 poblano pepper
Fresh ground pepper
Sea Salt
Pita Bread
Spicy Pickles
Artichoke Hearts


1-Mince poblano pepper 2- Cut lemon in half 3- Mix the worcestire sauce, dijon mustard and poblano pepper together. Squeeze in your lemon juice and blend everything together. Refrigerate overnight. 4- Take the patties and sprinkle sea salt, fresh ground pepper and some adobo on both sides and stick it in the fridge for an hour. 5- Marinate patties in the sauce for at least two hours. 6- Grill patties 7- Garnish with sliced artichoke hearts, spicy pickles, tomatoes and lettuce and serve on grilled pita bread.


Enjoy with Kool Aid (for the kids) or Sutter Home (for me).....
