Savory Corn Burgers

I love to use my garden fresh corn with this one but frozen or canned will suffice.

Ingredients 

2 lbs ground beef
6 tsp. ground cumin
6 tsp. cumin seeds
2 tbs. Sutter Home Cabernet
2 cups whole corn kernels, cooked and thoroughly drained.
salt and pepper to taste

Instructions 

Combine beef, ground cumin, cumin seeds, corn,wine and salt and pepper. Mix together and form into patties. Lightly oil grate, and place patties onto grill. Cook for 4 minutes per side on medium heat or until cooked through.

Comments 

Serve this one on a toasted whole wheat bun with all the usual condiments of ketchup, mustard, leafy lettce, tomato and onion slices. Goes exceptionally well with a side of fries!
