Rosy's better burger

My family and I enjoy a good grilled hamburger and after years of trial and error, I believe we found the best blend of flavors that make the mouth water for more. I have 2 sons that could eat anyone out of house and home, but they still enjoy my cooking to that of going out, because I love to make it an adventure, trying new and different combinations.


1 lb ground sirlion
1/2 lb sausage sage flavored
1 green onion chopped fine
1 tblsp pesto
2 fresh leaves sage chopped fine
1 grated banana pepper
1 tblsp liquid smoke
sea salt
1/2 tsp cilantro
4 slices smoked provolone
4 kaiser rolls
4 romain lettuce leaves
red onion sliced thinnly
fresh tomato


Mix the sausage and hamburger together softly in a bowl. Chop fine the following, green onion, sage leaves, and cilantro mix into meat. Grate the banana pepper add to bowl. Add pesto, liquid smoke, salt and garlic pepper. Mix together, form 4 balls and round into patty's. Ready for the grill. have Provolone cheese ready to top patty at the end of cooking. Slice red onion, tomato, romain lettuce to be place on top of burger that is place on bun with grey poupon.


I found out about this competition in Rachel Rays new magizine and just thought I would give it a try. My job is demanding so this is how I destress is to cook and make up new twists on every reciept that I've come across. I believe that this is the best burger!
