Pimento Burger

1 1/2 lbs ground round
4 oz. shredded extra sharp cheddar cheese
4 oz. chopped pimento, drained
1 tbsp chopped green onion
2 tbsp mayonnaise
1/8 tsp Tabasco
6 English muffins


Form the beef into six patties and grill on medium heat for 12 minutes, turning once. Meanwhile, blend cheese, pimento, onion, mayo and Tabasco and set aside. Toast English muffins. Put about two tbsp on each burger while still on the grill. Cover for about 30 seconds to melt. Place cooked burgers with melted cheese in buns.
