Oklahoma meets Alabama Burgers

Pairs well with:

Cabernet Sauvignon

This rich red easily complements your homemade chicken dishes, red meats, game, and mildly seasoned pastas.

Ingredients:

2 lbs. lean ground beef
1 large egg
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup Dales steak seasoning (Made in Burmingham, Alabama)
1 package dired onion soup mix
1 cup Head Country BBQ sauce (Made in Sapulpa , Oklahoma)
1 large onion sliced thin
8 slices Sharp cheddar cheese
8 toasted whole wheat hamburger buns

Instructions:

Mix first 5 ingredients together in a bowl
Make into 8 equal patties
Grill over medium heat for 5 minutes turn over
Place onion slice then 2 tablespoons BBQ sauce on burger, grill for an additional 4-6 minutes until medium doneness (160 degrees F)
Place patties on toasted buns top with
slice of sharp cheddar cheese
